This was part of a race route from a while back and it warranted revisiting. The race was a mountain bike race (because gravel hadn’t yet caught on here) but it’s mostly suitable for gravel riding. The last bit of climbing might be challenging with gravel gearing, and the solution to that is to ride this route clockwise instead of counterclockwise. Recommended for spring or fall riding, when it’s not too hot for climbing and not too cold for descending. This is part of the Trans Nevada 8-stage gravel route.
